Practice Facility

Start your practice session at our 25-acre range that includes several target greens and all bent grass teeing areas.  Our practice range can accommodate everyday play and practice, as well as the largest of outings.   We also have a chipping, pitching, and bunker area to work on these important shots. Take some time at our fairway bunker area to work on a few of these shots that you do not often get a chance to practice. We also have two practice putting greens available.

Golf Instruction

Just getting started in golf and want to learn to do it right?  Or are you an experienced golfer who needs help with a particular issue with your swing or short game?

Our General Manager, Danny Ackerman, PGA is available for private lessons in our spring, summer and fall seasons.  Lessons for corporate groups can also be arranged.

Danny Ackerman taught at the Pinehurst Golf Advantage Schools for 12 years and was Director of Golf at Quail Hollow Country Club in Ohio for two years.  He has been the Director of Golf at Longaberger Golf Club since the course opened in 1999. 

Ackerman’s philosophy of teaching calls for emphasis on the fundamentals of the game and developing a proper swing plane as the starting point for improvement.
